Softball Recap: Hickman County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fulton County last Tuesday, Hickman County came back down to earth. The Falcons fell just short of the Marshall County Marshals by a score of 5-4 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Marshals: they've now lost eight in a row.

Hickman County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blair Byassee, who went 1-for-2 with four RBI and one double. Audrey Tucker was another, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Hickman County's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Marshall County, their record now sits at 26-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hickman County will venture away from home to face off against Carlisle County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marshall County, they will head out to take on Calloway County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
