Baseball Recap: Ardmore Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ardmore's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Purcell Dragons on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ardmore dropped their record down to 3-22 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Purcell, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 23-7.

Ardmore has already played their next game, a 6-4 victory against Western Heights on the 28th. As for Purcell, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Chickasha on the 29th.
