Baseball Game Preview: Immanuel Eagles vs. Madera South Stallions

The Immanuel Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Madera South Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Immanuel will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Saturday, Immanuel earned a 5-2 win over McLane.

John Vanleeuwen was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Ornelas, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, Madera South came up short against Madera on Monday, falling 9-2. The Stallions haven't had much luck with the Coyotes recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Madera South saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Casarez, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Immanuel's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Madera South, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Madera South's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Immanuel has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .449. It's a different story for Madera South, though, as they've only averaged .363. Will they be able to contain Immanuel's hitters?

Immanuel took their win against Madera South in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 11-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for Immanuel since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
