Cathedral's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 59-19 win over the Herron Achaeans. The Fighting Irish have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Cathedral's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Precious Anuka led the charge by putting up ten points and three steals. Caroline Wiggins was another key player, posting seven points and three steals.

Cathedral was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Herron only racked up three assists.

Cathedral is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Herron, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6.

Cathedral will take on Purdue Polytechnic in a tournament on Thursday. Purdue Polytechnic has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 209 points over their last three games. As for Herron, they will head out to take on Victory College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Herron is facing Victory College Prep at the right time seeing as Victory College Prep is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
