Baseball Recap: St. George's Takes a Loss

St. George fell victim to Lausanne Collegiate and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Lynx. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Gryphons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

St. George's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Lausanne Collegiate, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. George's will face off against Memphis University School at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lausanne Collegiate, they will challenge White Station at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lynx's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
