The Balboa Buccaneers came into Wednesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on O'Connell with a sharp 71-51 win on Wednesday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Balboa has managed all season.

Leading Balboa to victory were Alan Ly and Je'Mon Brown. Ly scored 14 points along with five steals, while Brown scored 20 points along with six assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jason Hart, who scored seven points along with six steals.

Balboa's win bumped their record up to 7-16. As for O'Connell, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
