Softball Recap: Big Spring Takes a Loss

Big Spring's last matchup with Chambersburg could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Monday. The Bulldogs lost 10-0 to the Trojans. That makes it the first time this season the Bulldogs have let down their home crowd.

This is the second loss in a row for Big Spring and nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for Chambersburg, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Big Spring and Chambersburg should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Bulldogs (ranked 99th) will meet Boiling Springs (ranked 231st) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chambersburg will face off against Mechanicsburg at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (15 vs. 139).
