Pleasantville beats Putnam Valley for their ninth straight win

Recap: Pleasantville Panthers vs. Putnam Valley Tigers

The Pleasantville Panthers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Putnam Valley, posting a 38-6 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Pleasantville, who have now won five matches by 26 points or more so far this season.

Daniel Picart continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Picart, who threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes.

Pleasantville's victory was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-0. As for Putnam Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Pleasantville will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakeland at 6:10 p.m. on Friday. Lakeland will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 118th, while Pleasantville is ranked 31st). Putnam Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
