Baseball Recap: Patriot Takes a Loss

Patriot lost against Highland back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriot Warriors took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highland Bulldogs. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Patriot saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dustin Thayer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Thayer also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Paul Lopez-Ortiz was another, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Patriot's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Highland, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Patriot will head out to take on Redlands at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Highland, they will be playing at home against Cajon at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
