Volleyball Game Preview: Evansville Reitz Panthers vs. Castle Knights

Evansville Reitz hasn't had much luck against Castle recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 12:00 p.m.

Evansville Reitz saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Heritage Hills by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Evansville Reitz sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 17-25, 25-6.

Meanwhile, Castle had already won 12 in a row and they went ahead and made it 13 last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 19-25, 25-10, 25-12.

Castle's victory bumped their record up to 28-3. As for Evansville Reitz, they now have a losing record of 14-15.

Evansville Reitz couldn't quite get it done against Castle in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
