Basketball Recap: Columbia Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Columbia extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Zavian Douglas. The Columbia Tigers managed a 69-65 win over the Suwannee Bulldogs on Friday thanks in part to Douglas, who almost dropped a double-double on 32 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Murkail Cray was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

Columbia has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Suwannee, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Columbia has already played their next game, a 57-53 defeat against Impact Christian Academy on the 18th. As for Suwannee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-65 victory against Hamilton County on the 18th.
