Baseball Recap: Northland Pines Comes Up Short

Northland Pines blew Antigo out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Antigo got their revenge. The Eagles fell just short of the Red Robins by a score of 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since May 14, 2024.

Ethan Miller stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Huelskamp, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Northland Pines dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Antigo, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.
