Baseball Recap: Madisonville Takes a Loss

Madisonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 4-0 to the Bullard Panthers. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 6-5 to the Panthers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Madisonville got a good showing from Dean West, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those two hits allowed gave West a new career-low.

Madisonville's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12-1. As for Bullard, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-7-1.

While Madisonville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
