Soccer Recap: Prattville Comes Up Short

Prattville and Montgomery Catholic pushed the score to 8-0 the last time they played Montgomery Catholic, but on Wednesday defenses reigned supreme. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. Prattville were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Montgomery Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2019.

Prattville has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14-1 record this season. As for Montgomery Catholic, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Prattville will square off against Hillcrest at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Montgomery Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
