Basketball Recap: Oskaloosa Comes Up Short

After soaring to 66 points the game before, Oskaloosa was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They were dealt a 68-26 defeat at the hands of the Jefferson West Tigers. The game marked the Bears' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Oskaloosa had strong showings from Derrick Harvey, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards, and Carter Subelka, who posted seven points along with five rebounds and four steals. That was a full 42.3% of Oskaloosa's points, marking the third time in a row he's scored more than a third of the team's points.

Oskaloosa has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Jefferson West, the win got them back to even at 4-4-1.
