Basketball Recap: Danville Christian Academy Makes It 18 in a Row at Home

Danville Christian Academy had won 17 straight home games dating back to last season and Leek Ateny did his part to make it 18 on Tuesday. The Danville Christian Academy Warriors walked away with a 48-35 win over the Lincoln County Patriots thanks in part to Ateny, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Danville Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Lincoln County, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-8-1 record this season.

Danville Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-45 win against Danville on the 31st. Lincoln County has also already played their next contest (against Boyle County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
