North Pontotoc is a perfect 3-0 against Senatobia since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. North Pontotoc will look to defend their home field against Senatobia at 9:00 p.m. North Pontotoc will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Senatobia's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: North Pontotoc hadn't allowed a single run the last five times they've hit the field. North Pontotoc's pitchers stepped up to hand Oxford a 7-0 shutout on Friday. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Senatobia, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 6-1 win over Southaven on Friday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Kelsey Hoffman and Mady Bozant did most of the damage at the plate: Hoffman scored a run while going 3-for-3, while Bozant scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave Bozant a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bailey Thomas, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.

Senatobia's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for North Pontotoc, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

North Pontotoc was able to grind out a solid win over Senatobia when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 12-9. Does North Pontotoc have another victory up their sleeve, or will Senatobia turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
