Football Game Preview: Fordham Prep Rams vs. St. Anthony's Friars

The Fordham Prep Rams will square off against the St. Anthony's Friars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Fordham Prep is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They and St. John the Baptist were almost perfectly matched up on Sunday, but the Rams suffered a 27-26 defeat.

Meanwhile, St. Anthony's faced Archbishop Stepinac in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Friars really took it to the Crusaders for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-21 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Friars, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Fordham Prep has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for St. Anthony's, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Fordham Prep was dealt a bruising 35-7 loss at the hands of St. Anthony's in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Rams were down 35-0.
