Volleyball Recap: Campolindo Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Campolindo and Northgate, and Northgate kept the tradition alive. Campolindo came up short against Northgate on Tuesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cougars have suffered since May 14, 2024.

Campolindo couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Northgate a tough time in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 32-30, 25-13, 25-21.

The loss snapped Campolindo's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-7 record. As for Northgate, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-2.

Campolindo will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Albany at 6:30 p.m. on April 9. As for Northgate, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Santa Clara on the 28th.
