Softball Recap: ALA - Gilbert North Comes Up Short

ALA - Gilbert North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-0 to the Eastmark Firebirds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Firebirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-3 last Tuesday.

ALA - Gilbert North's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Eastmark, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. ALA - Gilbert North will take on Crismon at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastmark, they will face off against Combs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Firebirds' favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while the Coyotes have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
