The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Taylor County in their matchups with North Florida Christian: they've now lost six in a row.
Despite the loss, Taylor County still got an impressive performance from Trayce Abercrombie, who scored 21 points. Louis Gaddy Jr. was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 8 rebounds.
Parker Freeland continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Florida Christian, going 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 33 points and 3 assists. The game was Freeland's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Nyle Wright, who scored 14 points.
Taylor County now has a losing record at 1-2. As for North Florida Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Taylor County will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Godby at 7:00 p.m. As for North Florida Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Wakulla at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wakulla knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully North Florida Christian likes a good challenge.
