Knightstown has gone 6-1 against Winchester Community recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will look to defend their home field against the Golden Falcons at 5:30 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated (Knightstown has three wins , while Winchester Community has four dating back to last season).
Last Tuesday, Knightstown got the win against Eastern Hancock by a conclusive 8-1. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly seven runs.

Camden Gorman made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Gorman was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-5. Gorman is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
Gorman wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kason Weaver, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Kelton Weaver was another, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Winchester Community made easy work of Muncie Central on Monday and carried off an 11-1 win.
Winchester Community got a big performance out of Landen Porfidio, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases Porfidio has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Weatherhead, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Winchester Community was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Muncie Central only posted a batting average of .176.
Winchester Community pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Knightstown, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
Both Knightstown and Winchester Community just can't seem to miss. The Panthers have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9 hits per game. However, it's not like Winchester Community struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.2 hits.
