Baseball Game Preview: Grosse Pointe North Norsemen vs. Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils

For the second straight game, Grosse Pointe North will face off against Grosse Pointe South. The Norsemen will host the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Grosse Pointe North made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Grosse Pointe South, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Norsemen fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Norsemen have suffered since April 30th.

For Grosse Pointe South's part, Charlie Michelotti spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up seven Ks.
