Baseball Game Preview: ConVal Cougars vs. Bow Falcons

The ConVal Cougars will venture away from home to square off against the Bow Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

ConVal took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Coe-Brown Academy 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cougars have posted since May 21, 2025.

Meanwhile, Bow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Kingswood, falling 8-2.

ConVal is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Bow, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

ConVal might still be hurting after the 11-0 loss they got from Bow in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
