Football Recap: North Forrest Starts Season with Loss on the Road

North Forrest kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Pisgah Dragons by a score of 34-32. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Ethan Prater was a one-man wrecking crew for Pisgah as he rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 58 receiving yards and a touchdown. Prater got the majority of those yards when he pulled down a pass and and took off for a gain of58 yards. Caleb Grant handled things on the ground, rushing for 80 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Forrest will be defending their home-field for the first timethey go up against Lumberton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pisgah, they will face off against Richton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
