Basketball Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

Highland Park has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a blow against the Gruver Greyhounds on Friday, falling 72-33. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Highland Park's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Gruver, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Childress the next time they take the court. Gruver will head out to face Childress at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Highland Park will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
