It was a good run, but Great Falls unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 9-6 to the Lamar Silver Foxes. The Red Devils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Silver Foxes from their previous meeting back in March of 2019.
Kelby Brantley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Workman, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Great Falls' loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Lamar, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.
Looking ahead, Great Falls will challenge York Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lamar, they will square off against Great Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
