Softball Preview: Sotomayor WILDCATS vs. Stevens Falcons

The Sotomayor WILDCATS are taking a road trip to square off against the Stevens Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sotomayor will be strutting in after a victory while Stevens will be coming in after a loss.

Sotomayor proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 13) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 18-17 win over Holmes. The WILDCATS' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Stevens lost 16-6 to Warren on Friday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jesselle Pardo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Sofia Solis, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Sotomayor has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.
