Baseball Recap: Clovis West Golden Eagles vs. Central East Bengals
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Clovis West and Central East have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Golden Eagles blew past the Bengals 10-4. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 17-3 victory on Wednesday.
Beckhem Miscione was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Clovis West: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-7-1 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Waer, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one triple.
