Fox Valley Lutheran extends road winning streak to 12

Make it seven blowout wins for the Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes this season. They put the hurt on Oconto Falls with a sharp 63-41 win on Tuesday. Given Fox Valley Lutheran's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 35th, while Oconto Falls is ranked 346th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jameson Beaman, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Haines, who scored eight points along with two steals.

Oconto Falls struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Fox Valley Lutheran's victory was their 12th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points per game. As for Oconto Falls, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Fox Valley Lutheran will be playing in front of their home fans against Clintonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clintonville and Fox Valley Lutheran are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
