 If St. Aloysius was feeling good  off their  22-3 takedown of Providence Classical Academy on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The St. Aloysius Flashes fell just short of the Riverside Bulldogs by a score of  6-4 on Saturday. St. Aloysius was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Riverside apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in April of 2016.
  Walt Andrews was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Robert Lee, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 St. Aloysius' loss  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 11-9. As for Riverside, the  win was  the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.
 St. Aloysius will be playing at home against Cathedral at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. St. Aloysius is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.3  runs per game this season. As for Riverside, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Clarksdale at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Riverside is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
