Recap: Trinity Trojans vs. Lutheran West Longhorns
The Trinity Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Lutheran West 72-49. With that victory, Trinity brought their scoring average up to 53.5 points per game.
It was another big night for Iniya Charlton, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 16 rebounds. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Neva'eh Harrison was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with nine rebounds.
The win (which was Trinity's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.33 points. As for Lutheran West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Trinity will play host again and welcome Fairview, where tip off is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lutheran West, they will head out on the road to face off against Brooklyn at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Brooklyn is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
