Recap: Christian Fellowship Eagles vs. Heritage Christian Academy Warriors
The Christian Fellowship Eagles pushed their score all the way to 68 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 79-68 to Heritage Christian Academy. Christian Fellowship has not had much luck with Heritage Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Heritage Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jason Leek out in front who almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, nine rebounds, and ten assists. That makes it six consecutive games in which Leek has scored at least 25% of Heritage Christian Academy's points. Layton Giltner was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds.
Christian Fellowship now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Heritage Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Foundation Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Christian Fellowship will head out to face Foundation Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Heritage Christian Academy will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
