After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Granite Falls, Meridian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 win over the Anacortes Seahawks. With that victory, Meridian brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Katie Prengaman spent all seven innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered eight runs (all of which were unearned) on nine hits and racked up nine Ks. She also set a new season high mark in ERA with .000.
