Basketball Recap: Veritas Prep Drops Season-High Score on Dishchii'bikoh

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Veritas Prep). They enjoyed a cozy 73-56 victory over the Dishchii'bikoh Wildcats on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Veritas Prep was led to victory by Miles Perry and Baylor Arnold. Perry dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Arnold went 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Will Barrett, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds.

Veritas Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Veritas Prep's record is now 9-3. As for Dishchii'bikoh, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Veritas Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-48 loss against Show Low on the 2nd. As for Dishchii'bikoh, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 80-48 defeat against Empire on the 4th.
