Softball Preview: Puckett Wolves vs. Raleigh Lions

The Puckett Wolves will venture away from home to challenge the Raleigh Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Puckett is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

On Monday, Puckett sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over Pisgah. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted against the Dragons since March 8, 2022.

Lila Murphy made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
