The biggest upset of the week belonged to Ransom Everglades, who took down 459th ranked Marathon, 48-21.

LaSalle scaled the state rankings by moving to 226 from 254 this week, the biggest jump in Southeastern - South. The Royal Lions climbed the ranks as a result of beating Westminster Academy 30-24.

LaSalle's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Joey McCain threw for 42 and 1 touchdown and Rodrigo Berdullas had 33 yards receiving. On the ground Manny Readon chipped in 53 yards.

Willie Trimmer's team's dynamic duo of McCain and Berdullas proved to be unstoppable against the Lions, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Westminster Academy's Joe Vairo and Andrew James have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Vairo has thrown for 807 yards this season, while James has 17 catches for 346 yards. Cooper Chaplin from the Dolphins leads the league in rushing with 428 yards.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Coral Shores takes on the Royal Lions. At the moment, the Hurricanes are in third, while LaSalle is in first.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Coral Shores takes on the Royal Lions. Ed Holly's team has allowed 73 points this season, while LaSalle has given up 55. The Hurricanes allowed 0 points last week as they bested Miami Country Day.

Adding to the longest winning streak in Southeastern - South this week, the Royal Lions beat Jake Sorg's team 30-24. The win marks sixth in a row for the LaSalle.
