Baseball Recap: Spring-Ford Rams vs. Pottsgrove Falcons

Spring-Ford waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Pottsgrove Falcons get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Spring-Ford got a great performance from Dom Ruggiero as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave Ruggiero a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Luca Cavaliere was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Witmer, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
