Volleyball Recap: Wallkill Comes Up Short

Wallkill lost against Millbrook back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Blazers. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Wallkill was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Millbrook work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-15.

Wallkill's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9-6. As for Millbrook, they pushed their record up to 18-9-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Wallkill will face off against New Paltz at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Millbrook, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Shenendehowa on the 18th.
