Softball Recap: Glenbrook North Takes a Loss

Glenbrook North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-4 to the Mountain Home Bombers.

Grace Risinger stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 1-for-4 with one home run. Lexi Steres was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

Risinger wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Glenbrook North lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Glenbrook North's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mountain Home, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Glenbrook North will square off against Prospect at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mountain Home, they will face off against Farmington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Farmington has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
