Volleyball Recap: Lutheran South Academy Has No Trouble Against St. Agnes Academy

Lutheran South Academy won the last time they faced St. Agnes Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pioneers blew past the Tigers 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pioneers.

Lutheran South Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-14.

Lutheran South Academy found their leader in sophomore Charlie Marsico, who had 13 digs and four assists. Megan Schwanbeck also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Lutheran South Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for St. Agnes Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Lutheran South Academy will square off against Foster at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Agnes Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on FBCHA at 5:30 p.m. on September 8.
