Volleyball Game Preview: Grantsville Cowboys vs. Wasatch Wasps

The Grantsville Cowboys are taking a road trip to challenge the Wasatch Wasps at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Grantsville had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Ben Lomond on Tuesday. Grantsville put the hurt on Ben Lomond with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Cowboys haven't had any issues with the Scots recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Wasatch faced Cedar Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. Wasatch was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Cedar Valley. The victory was nothing new for the Wasps as they're now sitting on three straight.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23, 26-24.

Wasatch's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Grantsville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
