Volleyball Recap: Minatare Comes Up Short

Minatare was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Hay Springs Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12.

Minatare's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Hay Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Minatare has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Banner County on the 4th. As for Hay Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Garden County on the 4th.
