Malcolm had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They snuck past the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors with a 28-24 win on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Clippers, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Brixon Meyer produced another solid effort rushing for 69 yards and a pair of scores, while also picking up 96 receiving yards and one TD. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 54 yards. Preston Kucera did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 88 receiving yards.

Malcolm's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB six times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as six different players picked up one apiece.

Malcolm's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Lincoln Lutheran, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Malcolm didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 23-20 defeat against Kearney Catholic on the 7th. Lincoln Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
