While West Ridge put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Morristown-Hamblen East. The Wolves narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Hurricanes 1-0. This was a revenge game for the Wolves: when they faced off against the Hurricanes back in March, they had to take a 5-4 defeat.

West Ridge's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-8. As for Morristown-Hamblen East, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. West Ridge will face off against Morristown-Hamblen West at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Morristown-Hamblen East, they will venture away from home to take on Cherokee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
