Emerald Ridge waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the South Kitsap Wolves by a score of 5-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 last Tuesday.

Emerald Ridge pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for South Kitsap, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
