After flying high against Cuba-Rushford on Saturday, Gananda Central came back down to earth. The Blue Panthers fell just short of the Genesee Valley Jaguars by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The Blue Panthers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Gananda Central saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Wadsworth, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Gananda Central's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Genesee Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-2 record this season.
