Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lawrence Free State). They blew past the Coronado Cougars, posting a 59-22 victory.

Despite the defeat, Coronado had strong showings from Tati Gonzalez, who posted six points in addition to eight boards and three steals, and Elsie Walker, who had ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.

The win got Lawrence Free State back to even at 2-2. As for Coronado, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Lawrence Free State will head out to face off against Shawnee Mission North at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coronado, they will be home for the holidays to greet Lewis-Palmer at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
