Soccer Game Preview: Northside vs. Rogers Heritage

The Northside Grizzlies will head out to square off against the Rogers Heritage War Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Northside's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Northside's offense. They came up short against Bentonville West on Thursday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Northside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Bentonville West are ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Rogers Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Bentonville.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Rogers Heritage, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.

Northside might still be hurting after the 4-1 defeat they got from Rogers Heritage when the teams last played back in March. Can the Grizzlies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
