Volleyball Game Preview: Gillespie Miners vs. Litchfield Purple Panthers + How To Watch

Gillespie hasn't had much luck against Litchfield recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Miners will be playing at home against the Purple Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Gillespie didn't have quite enough to beat Southwestern and fell 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Gillespie sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 17-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Litchfield didn't have quite enough to beat Marquette Catholic on Wednesday and fell 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Litchfield sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 20-25, 27-25.

Gillespie's loss dropped their record down to 10-20. As for Litchfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-21.
